I am grateful for my health, my family, my friends.
That I bunk with Phil, Tybr and Ada.
Grateful for the opportunity to work hard at this art thing, despite all the barriers.
For being born in Canada, and all the windows my nationality has opened up to me.
For all the diverse communities I am surrounded by on a daily basis.
That I can cook well, I sleep heavy and I am able to shower on a regular basis.
Grateful for this song, which I have been dancing around to like a maniac for the past few hours while painting alone.

I am only 20 years old, nearing the brink of 21 and I feel very thankful for the all the experiences, trials and work I have accomplished in such a short time. Don't forget this, Laura. [Now get back to work!]

What are you grateful for?

hi. You caught me on a day when I am very grateful.
I'm grateful for my wife and the baby that is growing in her belly.
I'm grateful for the inspiration I feel.
I'm grateful for the chance to create all the stuff that I am creating and for all that others have created.

Aw, congrats on the baby! Did you two just find out about it?

And yeah, I am definitely grateful for all the other incredible minds out there creating beautiful art and inventing amazing things.

I'm grateful for my family (even though it's taken me such a long time to realize this).
For this lovely, lovely boy who has decided that I was worth certain things.
For my friends who are always there even though I suck sometimes.
For the education that I get, and that I'm able to read.
That I can eat things without having to think of the calories.
Knowing that we are never, ever really alone.

Yeah, education is so important and such an amazing gift. It's sad that so many people do not appreciate it when there are so many who can only dream about learning.

I am grateful for my family, and the support they are giving me to follow my aimless dreams.
I am grateful for the 60 inch television you and Phil let me use.
I am grateful that Carolina cleaned the mold off the bathroom walls.
I have a freezer full of dead animals, ready for me to nom nom.
And for you!

Honestly though, I was listening to an awesome song on the way home (or, back to your place just now) and felt fucking amazing. It's pretty outside tonight.

I think that it is wonderful that there are people like you guys who not only notice the good things in your lives but take the time to really immerse yourselves in them and draw power. Truly you represent the good in this world because of this source and because you have each taken a moment to reflect and spread your happiness to others.
For this I thank you.

Alexander

You are correct! I think we were on the 14th floor.

We need to hang out more! We should have a crazy cooking adventure soon. You can choose what to make if you like [since I think Phil and I were the only ones deciding before], and the mess can be in mine and Phil's kitchen if you want. Plus, I think Tybr and Ada miss you, you lavish them so. :)

Weekends, Fridays and Tuesdays are the best for Phil and I! This upcoming weekend will be too intense for being social with anyone, but maybe the one after if you are available...that would be the 8th-9th of March. Argh, I hate how everything gets so intense around this time school wise.

* for my family raising me to be smart and dependable and for making me laugh the whole time
* for Carlye agreeing to be part of my family in a couple of years
* for being given a gift that allows my mind to wander from a conversation about the mechanics of a space elevator to creating an entire story about societies in a new ice age
* for music
* for kisses
* for elephants
* for people i call friends, (that includes you and Phil)

We also completely consider you and Carlye friends. Actually, bizarrely enough I had a huge elaborate dream about you two visiting us just last night. You made us a total of 48 cupcakes and felt bad because you didn't have enough icing for them all. But Carlye was sick [as she was in real life recently {still is maybe?}] and was sleeping in our basement [which was actually my parents old basement] for the whole first day and when she emerged was wearing socks that went up to almost her crotch, fancy underwear and a cutesy tank top. I was envious of her style so I copied her once I realized I was dreaming thus it was my bizarre style. Man, I should draw what she was wearing. It was wacky. I woke up feeling very weird. Mainly about the strange attire I really enjoyed in the dream...

thank you for this post! youve inspired me to make my own list and realize just how much i have in my life. its so easy to get lost in other trivial things. thanks for helping to put things back into perspective. its admirable that you are able to do so on a daily basis.

Aw, you're welcome!

I try to appreciate things on a daily basis, but I also have my bad days where I am caught up in so much triviality. Lately though I am so so grateful for how healthy I am. No diseases or deformities...no night terrors and perfect eyesight. Yeah, I'm really just quietly appreciating my health a lot lately for no reason in particular.

Feels really great to acknowledge all the good in life and enjoy it while it lasts.

I am so grateful...
for the chance for a good education.
for all the wonderful people around me.
for all my limbs and organs, they are complete and working properly.
for common sense and the capacity to make my own decisions.
for all the little things, that as cheesy as it sounds, make my life the way it is.

I'm grateful that my life got turned around when it did.
For my family who could have easily turned their back on me.
That one of my goals has been accomplished (no matter how temporary it is)
For the few friend who stay in contact with me.
For Patrick.
For my right of choice of education and what I want to be.
That I grew up where I did.
