orange morning feet

I'm too comfortable. But aren't we all?

That's certainly one way to interpret this, heh.
Thanks!

Hello kitty sheets!

Also, I can't imagine popping your feet out of the covers in Canada in January. I think I would have to be permanently bundled.

I was already getting up and the heaters were on high, hah. It has also been really mild these last few days. Today it's supposed to reach a high of 8 degrees celsius...so around 46 fahrenheit. Anything above freezing point is a.o.k. in my books!

I am having fun imagining how you might've taken that picture yourself,
contorting and twisting at awkward angles,
but ending up with an image that looks totally comfortable.
So why are your feet so orange?

It is brilliant that you thought about how I had to contort, because contort I did! My back hurt after, hah.

I'm not sure...my feet always seem more orange in the morning, though. Maybe it has to do with the warmth and circulation...not really sure, but they certainly change colour after I am up for a while. Weird feet.

Seriously? I figured Phil took it, because taking this yourself would kill the "comfortable" factor.

Haha, at first I was taking them, but couldn't get the focus right, so I asked Phil, but he wasn't getting the angle right at all, so then I decided to have another go and finally got some shots that I was satisfied with. It was a long and painful process.

About a week and a half ago I did a shot of both my hands holding munchkin cards in a low light setting and the camera was resting/balancing on my face. That was also really tricky and awkward to do.

Munchkin cards? Did you post this? I don't recall seeing it.

No no, I never did. I just sort of forgot about it. Maybe I will eventually. It's nothing amazing, I was just impressed with my steady balance on face skills.

that's funny; I find holding the camera under my chin works very well for taking pictures of both my hands. usually when I'm cooking :)

Hehe, holding my camera with my chin would certainly work better if it weren't so large. Also, for the specific shot I was talking about I was on the floor, with the camera facing up to the ceiling and the camera was on manual mode, so no flash and manual focusing. I wish I had a mini tripod or something.

I especially like this because of the callous on your right heel.

Man, I have callouses all over my feet! But the one on my right heel is by far the one that sticks out the most due to good ol' peeling skin.

Hey!

I definitely saw those feet and thought it was someone(YOU) doing a handstand against a wall... but was I ever wrong! Saddening... perhaps you should do handstands, and take similar pictures... though that'd probably take much more contorting, and be much less comfortable!

I have a huge place in Waterloo and nothing to put in it... I don't even have a bed yet... it is sad.

I gotta come to Montreal one of these weekends... it just seems so far!

Hey! I am sorry to disappoint with the lack of a handstand. I can only imagine how ridiculously awkward that position would be for photo taking.

Come back to visit! How far is it by bus to commute between the two places?

usually like... 9 hours - inculding wait times. But, IF I get a ride share it can be as little as 5/6 hours. I'm debating coming on the 17th 18th, or maybe the weekend after. We'll see, especially about catching a ride out!
